Opening File Attachments

In Folder view, a paperclip icon next a message indicates that the message contains an attachment.

Note: You must open a message to view or save attachments.

  1. Open the message that contains the attached file.
  2. To display the attachment in your web browser (applies to text and image attachments only), click the filename of the attachment in the message header.
  3. To download the attachment to your computer, click the Download icon (down arrow) next to the attachment filename in the message header.
    The attachment is not saved to your computer unless you specifically save or download the attachment.
  4. To download all attachments from the message in a single ZIP archive, click the Download All Attachments (in .zip file) link in the message header.

We highly recommend downloading the attachment to a location of your choice on your computer and then opening the file. You must have an application on your computer that has the ability to open the file or you cannot it.

To attach a file to a message:

  1. Create a new message or reply to an existing one.
  2. Click the Attachments link.
  3. Click the Browse button.
  4. Locate the file you wish to attach.
  5. Click Open.
  6. Click the Attach button.
  7. Repeat the previous Attachments steps to attach additional files to your email message.
  8. Complete the email message and click Send Message.
